I have been planning on an update like this for at least a week now. I think this is the best time. That being now while things are still in a relatively good situation. First of all let me say right up front. Everyone will still get paid. Nobody is going to lose any money. I am not going anywhere, I have been here in MMG every single day for 18 months and I am not going anywhere. And yes, there are still funds to do payouts. The problem is that I have had too much money sitting stagnant and not earning for too long now and it is starting to catch up to me. It started about 1 month ago with the egold problems. After reviewing over the investments of the last month there have been no real substantial losses, although there have been a few smaller ones. So huge losses of money is not the main culprit. It is more the fact that this program is not run like a ponzi. I actually invest the money in an effort to earn 135% in 30 days. If the money isn’t invested then there are no earnings.
To be more specific, about 1 month ago I took about 25% of the funds out of e-gold before the whole egold mess started. Well, once the funds were out and the news came out that the big egold exchangers were no longer functioning I felt stuck. I didn’t dare use anybody to try and get the funds back into egold. The worry was that the funds would get stuck in an exchanger. Especially if it was a big amount. I waited things out for about a week or so and then decided to put the funds back in to alert pay and CEP Trust. However that process has taken forever. CEP trust must have taken about 2 weeks to get my account funded, they seemed to having a problem with ACH deposits and withdraws (a problem that they now have fixed.) To make a long story short, there has been at least 25% of the funds that have not been earning .
In addition to this it has been more difficult as of late to find good programs with the egold problems going on. So I have been more cautious. For example if I get a $500 spend into the program I don’t just throw it all into 1 program and let it ride. It takes me time to find a few good options to diversify it. Sometimes it has taken me several days.
Lastly, there have been 2 programs in particular that have seriously hampered my returns. One of those being Lighthalzen. I cycled $8000 through LH over the last 3 months. When they went down I ended up in profit but only about $600 profit. When they changed their terms to 5% daily from 15% daily that really hurt my earnings power and now I had a lot of funds stuck in a program that paid 120% over 24 days instead of 150% in 10 days.
I was hoping to get this full update out in 1 piece, however I have to run and get a couple of things done at this early hour. (Helping scouts put up flags for memorial day). I will go ahead and post what I have written thus far and be back later with more info. Meanwhile, payouts and new spends are being put on a temporary hold while I get some of these funds invested and get things caught up. And no you are not going to be left high and dry for weeks on end wondering what is going on. I can’t empahasize enough, I am not going anywhere. You can email me or PM me and you will always get a prompt response. This has been a hard decision for me to make, because when I see what payouts are due to go out on a given day it is tempting to just pay them because I do have funds, but I also know that if I just do that without getting them money invested this thing will turn into a ponzi and what is now just a temporary setback will turn into a bigger problem later. Thus decision to do something about it now. When I get back I will post more with more details about how I run the program.
continuation.....
To continue where I left off, here is a little more insight into how I have been running things and what has been going on.
#1 goal for me has been to find good programs and then diverify to an extend across several programs. So programs pay 150% in 10 days for example, others pay 125% in 30 days, some are 135% in 15 days etc. I realize that in some I will easily make the 135% within the 30 days, other more safe programs may only earn 120% in 30 days. The goal is that cumulatively with all programs combined to be able to generate 135% over 30 days. Ideally even more than 135% to further build reserves and pay myself at least something for my time an effort. FEB, MARCH and most of APRIL I have been able to do that with ease. I try not to put too much into any 1 program although it is quite tempting when you find something that seems good. Those of you who are familiar with planet trust also know that Jack Cobb is an outstanding admin who can definitely be trusted. He runs a very good program, I put a lot more than normal in his planet trust program for a few reasons 1) I know I can trust him, 2) it pays 144% in 12 days which really helps me hit 135% in 30 days when averaging that return into other programs I am in 3) difficulty in finding other programs I feel good about. Well, if you have followed the PT news then you know that Jack did away with egold as a processor due all the negative egold news. He has been in the process of migrating egold spends over to a new site where he will be paying out egold deposits out over time. So what was earning me 144% in 12 days has now been stagnant funds for at least 2 weeks now while the egold migration takes place. Between that, LH going under with me only realizing a small return in LH after 3 months there, and all the down time trying to get funds back into CEPT and alertpay it has taken a toll.
The more I find myself working under pressure to get things caught up the more I will make bad decisions. Thus the move to just put things on hold. I finally got CEP funded, my plans were to diversify some funds into a couple CEP programs. The funds never made it into their program but it is in the CEPT processor (which I know 1st hand is dong just fine) Well, they put their program on hold for some restructuring and I am not really seeing any good programs that take CEP as a processor. So now after waiting all that time to get CEP Trust funded it looks like I may need to get that money moved over to alertpay ebullion or solidtrust pay. I still am not sure of the best method to use to get funds back into egold. I dont really trust any of the exchangers right now.
Those who just made spends in the last few days may still see their payouts done right on time since things may be better caught up 30 days from now. If you are really worried and just made a spend, then a refund back out for now may be an option as well.
Ok, I need to get some more done here in the "offline world" I will be back on in a little later. Just remember, I am not going anywhere, you will not be waiting for weeks on end for updates, you will get paid. You wont be waiting forever to get paid. It is a bit of a balancing act. The longer I can delay payouts the more funds I have to work with to get better caught up, but at the same time I don't want members to have to wait too long and get more and more worried.
Lighthalzen was definitely a setback. They had tons of downtime and then when they finally came back online they changed their terms to 120% in 24 days (48 if you dont reinvest). People may be asking why they dont just go put funds in these programs on their own if that is all I am doing with the money anyways. The key difference is that when there are bumps in the road I am going to make sure that when all is said and done that you still get paid out, even if it takes longer than 1st anticipated. Going at it on your own means you shoulder all the risk. I will not let anyone lose money. There are options to just pay people back out to break even, but at this point I would rather get people there 135%. As always your input and/or suggestions are welcome. Either post it here, send a PM or email me.

Other processors
All payouts up to and including 5/18 expiration are complete.
If you have an interest in being paid out to a different processor than egold let me know. If possible I will accomodate you and pay you out to CEP Trust, Alerpay, etc. No guarantees, just depends on what would be best to keep things in balance among the processors.
If you have interest in making a spend using a different procesor than e-gold contact me and I will let you know spend detail.

Update
Spend link

My laptop crashed and all the data was lossed. I used a spreadsheet to keep track of all spends and expirations and to track when I need to pay who on what day. I will need to go back through the e-gold records and recompile this data. If you send me an email with your e-gold # and details on your spends it will help me get the data put back together quicker. Either way I will be able to recover it all from my e-gold account spend history.
As mentioned in a previous post I moved some funds out of e-gold due to the recent allegations against e-gold. I have been reading more lately about the $ amount of e-gold redemptions seems to have increased drastically. Thus, I have been reluctant to put these funds back into e-gold since it feels like it may be risky at this time. Not to mention I am not sure what exchanger I can trust to get the funds back in since several of the bigger and more reputable exchangers are not operating at the moment.
I am considering putting these funds back into alertpay and/or CEP Trust instead. Any thoughts on this? Send me an email letting me know if there is an alternate processor that would be an option to be paid to if you weren't paid to e-gold.

Paying for 3 months and going strong
Just wanted to announce that today marks the 3 month mark from the program launch on February 6. Many programs struggle to last 1 month. All payouts for May 6 were actually processed yesterday, 1 day ahead of schedule. Looking forward to another 3 months.

MMG Thread
To make a spend into the program click here...

Not much to update. Payouts continue to go out right on schedule.
I purposely chose not to list the program in MMG when I first started it 10 weeks ago. I actually didn't want it to have a lot of attention. I have seen other admin promote a program in a pre-launch phase then have a huge launch date with a surge of members and money on day 1 then they are overwhelmed. My goal was to achieve just the opposite effect. I listed it on the blog and then talked about it nowhere else. People naturally found the program on their own through the blog and there has been a steady pace of new member signups.
I decided to go ahead and list the program in the HYIP section of MMG. It doesn't reallly matter to me whether the listing helps bring in additional members. The success of the program does not depend on new members and new money coming in. However, I thought it would be helpful to have a place where people could check in, ask questions and get answers. I will also daily give updates on daily payouts being completed etc.

Update

The program remains open to new members until further notice. If I feel it has reached a point where I need to close it to new member deposits I will give 3 days notice. With periodic reopenings. You will be paid back to the e-gold account you made your spend from in 30 days.
Max is stil $500 min. is $10.
It has been about 2 1/2 months now since the program was launched and all continues to go well. Payouts continue right on schedule. I am doing away with the 15 day plan. Right now there is no interest in the 15 day plan, 100% of the people in the program are in the 30 day plan, so going forward that will be the only option.
Also, I need to clarify how the principal guarantee works. So far everyone has been fully paid with earnings so it hasn't been an issue. Also I don't see it being a current issue since I have not experienced any losses in the last few weeks. However, just to clarify up front. The gurarantee means that if I were to add up total deposits and subtract total withdraws into and out of the e-gold account then people are guaranteed to always have a break even scenario. I am careful to keep cash reserves to cover for losses. So for example if you put in $500 and your spend expires and you are paid $675 and then you put $300 back in again as a 2nd spend your total deposits would be $800 ($500 + $300) your total withdraws would be $675 for a net differnce of $125. If the program experienced significant losses and the "gurantee" portion needed to be utilized, then this example would have guaranteed back to them $125 to bring them back to break even.
Finally, I would like people to start indicating (via email or PM at MMG) when they make their spend what their intentions are at expiration. (payout profits---reinvest principal) (full reinvest), (full payout), (payout $100---reinvest $200) or whatever the case may be. This helps to cut down on processor fees and helps me plan out the cashflow needs. I will not hold you to what you indicate. In other words if you state to "reinvest principal and payout profits only", then change your mind later that is fine, but if you could indicate your plans when you make the spend then try to stick to that then it will help tremendously.
Thanks for all the feedback from the last post. Most chose to email me. The return will stay at 135% over 30 days. However, I will reserve the right to payout a lower amount if I feel it needs to be done due to negative circumstances. This is just being stated as a FYI, but again I emphasize I don't currently see any need to pay out less than 135%.
Thats all for now.

Program update
I figured it was about time for an update.
It has now been over 2 months since the launch date back on Febuary 6th. Really not much to update at the moment. Thus far everyone has been paid right on time. Everyone in the 30 day plan has received 135% return at the end of the 30 day period. I haven't had the need yet to step in and guarantee any principal back due to losses. I will continue to do my best to continue to offer 135% over a 30 day period. As just mentioned so far it hasn't been a problem. I have read up on some other private investment programs out there that are offering some more conservative returns of 120% or 125% after 30 days. I started off a bit ambitious at 150% then quickly realized I needed to cut back to 135%, especially if I was going to offer a money back guarantee if I ended up with losses. As of now it is still 135%, and could continue at this rate the way things are going. However I have tossed around the idea in my head of making it a more variable rate. Meaning if all goes as planned I pay out the full 135%, if an investment in the program experiences a setback then the return may end up being 130%, or 125%. As it stands right now I have felt quite a bit of pressure to deliver 135% even if I were to screw up and only get 125% on a given investment. (Hasn't happened yet, knock on wood) It has kind of been an all or none type of thing, meaning either 135% or your money back if I experience a loss. As I already mentioned it hasn't been a problem thus far being able to deliver on the 135% but it would be nice to feel like I have the flexibility of paying back a lower return if a given investment didn't go as planned.
Right now this change is not being made, and very well may not be changed. At this point I am just looking for some feedback on this. Trying to figure out if this idea would have support from members or if I need to keep it as is. On the flip side, being a variable rate that could be less than 135% that means if things go better than planned the return could even be higher like 140% or more.
Post your comments here in the blog, email me, or send a PM at MMG and based on the feedback I recieve I will decide whether or not to change things.
Final note: The forex idea is being put on hold. I just don't have the time right now. I could pretend like I am doing forex trades and open a forex program, but then I would be like 95% percent of the other programs out there that claim to be making money in forex. I don't want to operate that way. I am a straight shooter and if I am going to run a forex based program, then it is going to really be based on real forex investments. Time available to get involved in this right now is scarce so for not its on hold. Thats all I have for now. I look forward to the feedback.
